Briana Coleman

Hi OAO families! I am Briana Coleman, your Optima Academy Online PTC President, and I could not be more excited to serve this community. My family joined OAO during the 2024–2025 school year with a 4th grader and a kindergartener, making the full transition into homeschooling and never looking back. 

As a former homeschooled student, I knew my children needed something more than traditional public and private schools could not provide.

We love OAO — and with my future students on the way, I have every reason to pour my heart into making the OAO PTC the best it can be as your serving PTC President. 

I originally stepped into the OAO PTC role with a background as both a PTA Vice President and PTA President at my oldest son's former brick-and-mortar school. When I joined the Parent Connect group and saw so many families craving that same sense of community in a virtual space, I knew exactly what to do. I reached out, asked the question, and the PTC was revamped from there.

What I love most about OAO is that it truly sees its families and meets scholars right where they are without fail. The academics are excellent, the teachers are incredible, and the flexibility allows my children to thrive in a way that is uniquely their own.

My goal as President is simple — to take everything I learned in the brick-and-mortar world and bring it here, meeting families, scholars, and educators in the middle for fun, connection, and community beyond VR and the Microsoft Teams screen. We are growing slowly but surely, and I believe the best is still ahead of us. Let's have fun and build something great — together.

Nicole Limper

Welcome to all of our new OAO families! My name is Nicole Limper and I currently serve as the VP of our PTC Board. In my role, I primarily support the vision of our amazing PTC President, Briana, in building a thriving community where our families feel connected and part of the OAO family! We love to have fun!

We plan and organize our annual school wide field trip, our end of year bash, and lots of in-person and online meet ups throughout the year for our scholars and families to connect with friends, make new friends, and enhance their overall experience here at OAO. 

Our family has been part of OAO since the 2024 - 2025 school year and it has truly transformed how our family views education. The flexibility that we now have has allowed us to experience so many new and unique opportunities that were not possible in our prior years in a traditional brick and mortar school.

My three daughters love school and look forward to it everyday! They have made so many friends here at OAO, they have had exceptional teachers, and they are all excelling in their academics.

We feel truly blessed to be a part of what OAO is accomplishing in the world of online education! 

The future is very bright, and we are so happy to have you here with us!
